Pakistan Foreign Minister left for London to join Kashmir Solidarity Day events

LAHORE – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has left for London on Sunday morning to attend functions being organized in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day.

According to Radio Pakistan, the foreign minister will also address an international conference on Kashmir in British Parliament tomorrow (Monday).

The Foreign Minister will attend an exhibition being held in Park Lane on Tuesday.

Earlier, Shah Mehmood Qureshi established telephonic contact with Senior Kashmiri leadership and discussed with them programmes being organized in London.

He said that Kashmir is the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy and our stance in this regard is very clear.

The Foreign Minister said on Kashmir Solidarity Day, we will raise a strong voice to highlight Indian persecution and brutalities being perpetrated in occupied Kashmir.

He said Pakistan will continue to extend its political, moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris for their right to self-determination in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
