Finally, WhatsApp update has fixed a issue, which remained unnoticed completely by the mass within the instant messaging app for years. The bug appeared with a “weird line” on Splash Screen of WhatsApp. That greets the users when they open the app.
WhatsApp Update fixes Splash Screen Bug
WaBetaInfo was first one that spotted the bug on its website. It demonstrated the issue on the website properly by altering the contrast on an image of the Splash Screen.
Last week WaBetaInfo posted the issue on Twitter and highligted the bug:
The Splash Screen has a weird line (left size of the WhatsApp logo).
It’s almost invisible but if you zoom in you can notice the line. I’ve edited the screenshot, so you can see it better.
What’s it? So many beta updates for the Splash Screen, and WhatsApp has never noticed it? pic.twitter.com/0jUZXcXriA

WhatsApp released a latest Android 2.19.297 update that fixes the issue this week.
An another report of WaBetaInfo informed that another update for a beta version of the WhatsApp would soon introduce the feature of disappearing messages.
